The Askar 0.75x Reducer for the Askar 71F telescope is an essential accessory for astrophotographers looking to enhance their imaging capabilities. This high-performance reducer not only shortens the 71F’s focal ratio to F5.2 but also provides field flattening to ensure crisp, clear images across the entire frame. A shorter focal ratio offers a wider field of view and faster exposure times, making it ideal for capturing expansive celestial objects like nebulae, star clusters, and other faint or fast-moving targets.

Featuring a durable triplet design, the reducer supports a 44mm full-frame image circle, allowing you to make the most of your astrophotography setup. With a lightweight build of just 0.23 kg, it maintains portability without compromising on performance. The reducer also offers a standard 55mm back focus from its M48 thread, ensuring compatibility and ease of use with a range of accessories.

Threaded with M59x1 at both ends, the reducer is designed for seamless integration with the 71F photographic extension tube, which comes with M54x0.75 and M48x0.75 adapters. This allows for quick and easy attachment, while the built-in M48x0.75 2-inch filter thread enables direct use of filters. Precision CNC machining ensures durability, and threaded metal caps are included to protect against dust when the reducer is not in use.
