The FlatMaster Neo 120 is a retractable LED flat-field panel designed to deliver uniform illumination for telescopes up to 120 mm. It ensures precise, high-quality flat-field frames for astrophotography and photometric captures, giving you clean calibration without additional tools or materials.
Crafted from lightweight, aircraft-grade aluminum, the FlatMaster Neo combines robustness with portability. Its retractable servo panel is fully adjustable from 0° to 270°, doubling as a protective cover against dust and moisture. A specialized silicone flange ensures a tight, light- and dust-proof seal around your telescope optics.
The integrated LED panel can be controlled from 0% to 100% brightness, making it compatible with a variety of filters and exposure times. Brightness levels can be stored for individual filters and recalled instantly. With high maximum output, short exposures of 2–3 seconds at f/7 are achievable even with 3 nm narrowband imaging filters.
An adjustable dew heater keeps the panel surface dry, preventing moisture accumulation. Built-in temperature and humidity sensors automatically regulate the heater according to dew point, while a light sensor can close the lid at sunrise, protecting your telescope from daylight exposure.
The FlatMaster Neo is powered and controlled through a single USB-C cable. A manual button allows quick adjustments to brightness or opening/closing the lid, making the setup simple and clutter-free.
Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to connect via the panel’s hotspot or an existing network. The web dashboard provides intuitive control from mobile or desktop devices. It also supports ASCOM 7 and ASCOM Alpaca, enabling integration with automation and imaging software for seamless observatory workflows.
