Will this William Optics prism work with my Schmidt-Cassegrain or reflector telescope?
This prism is primarily designed for refractors and Maksutov-Cassegrain telescopes. While it will fit in the 1.25" focuser of a Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) or Newtonian reflector, you may not have enough focuser travel to reach a sharp image. Refractors are generally the best match for this type of diagonal.
What is the difference between this 45° erecting prism and a standard 90° star diagonal?

Will this prism affect focusing on my telescope when viewing ships from my balcony?
Yes, all diagonals change the focus point of a telescope. The William Optics 45° prism will require you to move the focuser "out" (away from the telescope tube) to reach focus compared to viewing without a diagonal. Most refractors have ample focuser travel to accommodate this without any issue.
