Explore Scientific cradle assemblies fit their appointed telescope OTA snuggly, yet protect the delicate surface of the tube. The hinged ring system separates easily by loosening the oversized metal thumbscrews, and locks securely back into place once the OTA has been nestled inside the rings. Each extruded aluminum ring set is topped with a slotted carry handle so that it is easy to move your telescope around when it is off the mount. Attach a camera, guidescope, or other accessory to the top of the handle with standard 1/4–20 bolts.
