The 6-element, 4-group optical system is fully multi-coated to maximize light transmission and contrast, ensuring that faint details in galactic dust lanes or the outer arms of galaxies are not lost. • Secure Grip: The anodized aluminum body features a wide rubber grip that ensures secure handling, even with gloves on during cold nights. At a substantial weight of 1186g, this secure grip is essential for safe handling.
• Filter Ready: The 2" barrel is threaded to accept standard 2" astronomy filters, allowing you to easily add a nebula or light pollution filter to enhance your views.

Parfocal Convenience Across the Luminos Eyepiece Series

All eyepieces in the Celestron Luminos series are designed to be parfocal.
