    Eagle6 Compatible will all telescopes

Universal Compatibility Meets Efficiency with EAGLE

The EAGLE system is universally compatible, designed to effortlessly connect with any type of telescope—be it refractors, Schmidt-Cassegrains, Ritchey-Chretiens, Newtonians, or others. Its special PLUS case features multiple threaded holes and is compatible with a range of PLUS system accessories, including support rings, dovetail bars, and dovetail clamps. This versatility makes mounting EAGLE to your telescope a straightforward process.

Streamlined Setup and Enhanced Durability: Using EAGLE instead of a traditional laptop or desktop computer significantly reduces cable clutter around your telescope. The system’s design ensures that all cables move in unison with the telescope, drastically minimizing the risk of cable snagging or detaching as the telescope tracks celestial objects. This streamlined setup not only enhances reliability but also improves the overall user experience during observations.

Optimized for Field Use: EAGLE's low power consumption is another standout feature, reducing the total battery capacity needed to power your telescope setup throughout the night. The internal components are specifically designed for field use, capable of operating in extended temperature ranges and higher humidity conditions. Moreover, the minimal heat generated by the processor warms the chassis just enough to prevent dew formation on both the body and the EYE lens, ensuring optimal performance even in dew-prone environments.

EAGLE is equipped with 10 USB ports, revolutionizing connectivity for your astrophotography equipment. This extensive array of ports transforms EAGLE into a single, compact hub, eliminating the need for multiple USB hubs and significantly decluttering your setup. The thoughtful positioning of each USB port ensures that access is straightforward, reducing the likelihood of tangled wires or accidental disconnections that could interrupt your observations.

Smart Power Management and Control: Four of these USB 2.0 ports can be remotely turned on or off, providing not only a convenience but also an energy-saving benefit. You no longer need to manually unplug cables; instead, you can manage power to these ports directly through the EAGLE's interface. This feature is especially useful for saving power when a port is not in use or for resetting a port in the event of a device connection issue.

Streamlined and Reliable: By centralizing the control of all your astrophotography devices through EAGLE, your setup becomes more efficient and organized. This consolidation reduces potential points of failure and enhances the overall reliability and user-friendliness of your astrophotography sessions. With EAGLE, you're not just simplifying your setup—you're upgrading to a more streamlined and effective astrophotography experience.

    EAGLE's Advanced Power Bridge

EAGLE features a robust power bridge equipped with seven dedicated power out ports, designed to streamline and secure the power supply to your astrophotography devices. This system allows you to directly power 12V devices such as cameras, mounts, and focusers through EAGLE, eliminating the need for multiple power sources.

    Specialized Power Out Ports:

    • Standard 12V Ports: Four of these ports provide stable 12V power, each secured with screw-type connections to prevent accidental cable detachments. For added convenience and compatibility, special power cables are available (optionally) for various devices.
    • Variable 0-12V Ports: Three ports offer adjustable voltage from 0 to 12V, ideal for powering dew heaters without the need for an external controller. These ports' power settings can be controlled via EAGLE Manager X, allowing you to switch the dew heater on or off and adjust the voltage output as needed.

    Enhanced Safety and Control Features:

    • Overcurrent Protection: A dedicated chip on the power board safeguards your equipment by quickly disconnecting power in the event of an overcurrent, thereby protecting both the EAGLE and any connected devices more effectively than traditional fuses.
    • Automated Power Restoration: After a disruption, power is automatically restored once the issue is resolved, ensuring minimal downtime and hassle.
    • Adjustable Current Limits: A special microcontroller allows you to tweak the maximum current limit of the 12V ports by ±1A. This flexibility means you can safely adjust the power settings to match the exact needs of your equipment, even if a device requires slightly more power than a port’s default setting.
