    ZWO FF107/FF130 APO 0.7× Universal Reducer - Overview

    The ZWO FF107APO/FF130APO 0.7× Universal Reducer is a high-performance accessory designed for use with the FF107APO and FF130APO telescopes. Featuring a three-element optical design, including one ED glass element, this reducer improves your wide-field deep-sky imaging by shortening the focal length and reducing exposure times.

    Optical Design and Reduction Factor

    With a 0.7× reduction factor, the reducer lowers the focal ratio of the FF107APO to f/4.9, significantly enhancing light-gathering ability.

    This results in a focal length of 524mm, which offers a wider field of view for capturing expansive views of deep-sky objects.

    Improved Imaging Efficiency

    The reduced focal length and faster focal ratio decrease integration times, allowing you to capture high-quality images of deep-sky objects with greater efficiency.

    Standard 55mm Back Focus Distance

    The standard 55mm back focus ensures compatibility with most astrophotography setups, making the reducer versatile and easy to use.

    Convenient and Simple Connectivity

    Includes M68, M54, and M48 threaded adapters, ensuring simple attachment to your setup and offering compatibility with various accessories.

    Detailed Setup and Connection Instructions

    1. Prepare the FF107APO Telescope Tube and Reducer:
      Make sure the FF107APO telescope tube and 0.7X reducer are ready for installation.

    2. Remove the M86 to 2-inch Adapter:


      Unscrew the M86 to 2-inch adapter at the end of the FF107APO telescope tube to prepare for attaching the reducer.
    3. Attach the Reducer:
      Unscrew the end cap of the 0.7X reducer and insert it into the focuser inner tube.
    4. Secure the Reducer:
      Tighten the reducer into place to ensure a stable and secure connection.

    The ZWO FF107APO/FF130APO 0.7× Universal Reducer is ideal for wide-field deep-sky imaging, offering reduced exposure times and a wider field of view.
