Its 8x magnification and 32 mm objective lenses give a 4.0 mm exit pupil, and its wide view makes it easier to locate birds and track movement. Weighing 17.01 oz and focusing as close as 2.0 m (6.5 ft), it is comfortable for all-day use, from distant vistas to nearby details.

Fully Multi-Coated Optics with KR Protective Coating

The SV III 8x32 uses phase corrected roof prisms, which help resolution and contrast, and fully multi-coated optics that maximize light transmission for bright, crisp images with natural color. This wide perspective makes it significantly easier to locate subjects, such as birds in flight or wildlife moving through dense foliage, and to keep them within the frame. At a distance of 1,000 meters, this translates to a 152-meter-wide viewing area, allowing you to observe your subject in the context of its surroundings without constant panning.

All-Weather Ergonomics at Just 17.01 oz

Designed for extended use outdoors, the SV III 8x32 has a lightweight, compact polycarbonate body with durable rubber armour, weighing 17.01 oz and measuring 127 x 123 x 52 mm. Its waterproof, nitrogen-filled construction helps prevent internal fogging during temperature changes and wet-weather use. The 10x32 offers greater magnification for resolving fine detail on distant, static subjects. However, the 8x32's key advantage is its significantly wider 8.7° field of view (compared to 6.7° on the 10x32), which makes it easier for locating and tracking moving targets.
