    The Smart Eye integrates a 9MP Sony IMX533 color sensor with 2-stage TEC cooling capable of reaching 30°C below ambient temperature. It presents the captured image on an internal Ultra HD 2560x2560 display, delivering a 90° field of view directly to your eye. The entire 795g system is powered by a single 5V / 3A USB-C cable and controlled wirelessly via dual-band WiFi from any iOS or Android device.

    At the core of the Smart Eye is a 9MP Sony IMX533 square sensor, providing a 3008x3008 pixel array for capturing deep-sky objects. The integrated 2-stage thermoelectric cooler actively reduces thermal noise by up to 30°C below ambient, enabling you to take longer exposures and see faint details in nebulae and galaxies that are impossible to detect with a traditional optical eyepiece.

    Integrated ST-4 Port: Autoguiding Without a Laptop

    For serious long-exposure astrophotography, the Smart Eye includes a built-in ST-4 guide port. This allows you to connect a separate guide camera directly to the eyepiece, which then manages guide corrections internally. This design eliminates the need for a dedicated computer running guide software, streamlining your portable imaging setup and reducing power consumption at remote sites.

    Can I use filters with the Smart Eye?

    Yes. The included 2" nosepiece has a standard female M48 thread on the telescope side. This allows you to thread in any standard 2" astronomy filter, such as a light pollution or nebula filter, directly into the optical path before the sensor.
