Its ultra-slim body is designed to fit a Camera Angle Adjuster (CAA) or Electronic Tonal Adjuster (ETA) into optical paths with minimal spacing. The gear-driven system provides exceptional repeatability for reliable flat frames, while a 12V power hub simplifies cable management at the telescope.

Ultra-Low Profile: A Solution for 0 Back Focus Constraints

In many modern imaging setups, the available back focus is consumed by correctors, off-axis guiders, and other accessories. The Snowflake filter wheel addresses this by minimizing its own thickness, creating critical space that allows for the addition of other vital components. For imagers struggling to fit everything within their telescope's focal plane, this slim design can be the only viable solution.

To further enhance stability, the Snowflake abandons the conventional perimeter-only screw pattern. A central mounting screw is added to create a unified, rigid connection to the camera, reducing deformation by half compared to standard designs. This doubles the structural rigidity, directly combating flexure that can tilt sensors and ruin sub-exposures.

7+1 Slots & Zero Light Leaks: A Professional, Gear-Driven System

The Snowflake holds eight 50mm or 2" mounted filters, with a unique 7+1 configuration.
