The Sky-Watcher Classic Dobsonian Telescope 153mm/1200mm (6") has a "paraboloidal" primary mirror to eliminate spherical aberration and a four-arm, secondary- mirror bracket with fine supports (0.5mm thick), to reduce diffraction spikes and light loss. In addition, this models include a 2" focuser with a 1.25" adapter, allowing the use of either eyepiece size. This models also include the new feature-tension control handle.

Love my first telescope!

Decided on a skywatcher classic 150p for my first telescope. David Astro had the best price with the quickest shipping that I could find. Purolator had a little hiccup with shipping and seemed to have lost the package for a few days in Montreal.

Anytime I emailed David Astro with concerns they were very punctual and returned my emails quickly. They seemed to be tracking the package and trying to make sure that everything arrived as it was supposed to.

The telescope arrived in great condition and I have been loving it. I’ve seen brilliant views of the moon, Jupiter and some groups of stars so far.
