The camera's 14-bit ADC provides 13 stops of dynamic range, capturing a greater range of details in high-contrast scenes. The impressive 63,700e full well capacity prevents saturation of bright stars, ensuring excellent signal-to-noise ratios with single exposures.
The USB 3.0 interface supports a frame rate of 16 fps at 14-bit normal mode and 19 fps at 12-bit high-speed mode, making the ASI294MC ideal for a variety of applications, from deep-sky imaging to fast planetary captures.
