The rings allow incremental adjustments equivalent to approximately 2/5, 2/3, and 1 1/3 turns of an M54 thread, giving you exact control over back focus and the final rotational position of your camera or filter wheel.

    0.3mm, 0.5mm, and 1mm Spacing for M54 Thread Alignment

    When connecting threaded components, the final orientation is often unpredictable, leaving your camera at an awkward angle. These M54 rings act as micro-shims, allowing you to control exactly where threads bottom out. By adding a 0.3mm, 0.5mm, or 1mm ring, you can precisely adjust the final rotational angle of any M54 accessory.

    These rings are also essential for achieving exact back focus.
