Does the Lunt Case for LS50THa come with foam?

No, this case does not include any foam. It is an empty hard shell specifically designed for you to insert the original foam that came with your Lunt LS40THa or LS50THa telescope.

Why would I buy the Lunt LS50THa case without foam?

You would purchase this case to provide a durable, protective housing for the foam your telescope already came with. It's an upgrade from the standard cardboard shipping box to a proper transport and storage case.

I damaged the original shipping box for my Lunt LS50THa. Is this the right replacement?

Yes, this is the perfect replacement. Simply remove the foam insert from your damaged box and place it into this hard case to restore and upgrade your telescope's protection.

I own both a Lunt LS40THa and an LS50THa. Can I use this one case for both telescopes?

Yes, this case fits the foam inserts for both the Lunt LS40THa and LS50THa models. However, you would need to swap the corresponding foam insert each time you wanted to store a different telescope.

Will this Lunt case fit other telescopes?

This case is specifically designed for the foam inserts of the Lunt LS40THa and LS50THa. It is not guaranteed to fit other telescopes or foam sets.

What are the dimensions or weight of the Lunt LS50THa case?

The manufacturer does not specify the exact external dimensions or weight. It is engineered to be a precise fit for the stock foam that accompanies the LS40THa and LS50THa telescopes.
