    Secure, Non-Marring Connection for 3" Accessories

    When using heavy cameras or large format eyepieces, a simple thumbscrew is not enough to prevent flexure or slippage. This visual back uses multiple locking screws distributed around the collar, allowing you to apply even, firm pressure for a solid fit. Inside, a brass compression ring grips your accessory's barrel securely without leaving the scratches and gouges common with single-screw designs, preserving the finish on your valuable equipment.

    Its primary function is to adapt the M98 drawtube thread of the ESATTO 3.5" LP focuser so that it can accept accessories with a standard 3-inch nosepiece. This allows you to connect large format cameras, diagonals, and eyepieces directly to the focuser.

    It features an internal brass compression ring. When you tighten the locking screws, this soft metal ring clamps down evenly around the barrel of your accessory. Unlike direct screw-on-barrel contact, this method avoids scratching, denting, or marring the surface of your equipment.

    This adapter is designed exclusively for the PrimaLuceLab ESATTO 3.5” LP (Low Profile) robotic focuser. It will not fit other ESATTO models or focusers from other brands.

    Does this adapter allow me to attach my ESATTO focuser to a Celestron EdgeHD telescope?

    No, this is an output adapter, not an input adapter. This 3" visual back connects accessories to the drawtube of the ESATTO focuser. To connect the entire ESATTO focuser to the back of a telescope like a Celestron SCT or EdgeHD, you would need a separate telescope-side adapter.
