  • Tele Vue Telescope Balance Aid

    The plate attaches to the TV-76's mount ring with the screws provided and moves the balance point about 2.5" forward, helping balance the scope with heavy eyepieces and accessories.

    Mounting

    It attaches to the Tele Vue tripod mounting cradle and moves the mounting point for the ring forward, toward the objective. Hardware is provided for Tele-Pod-style mounts and for photo tripods.

  • How does it help balance?

    It moves the telescope's mounting point about 2.5" forward, offsetting heavy eyepieces at the back.

    Does it use a counterweight?

    No. It is a plate that shifts where the ring mount sits.
