Unlike resistance-wire heaters, this strip uses a thick-film element where 66% of the surface area radiates heat. This design produces a gentle, even warmth across the 24" heating element length, with no localized hot spots or burnouts often associated with resistance wire heaters. At 12 V, it consumes 11.8 W of power, drawing 0.98 A.
Simple Integration: 6 ft Cord with RCA Plug
The strip has an attached 6 ft power cord. It terminates in a standard RCA plug, making it compatible with standard dew heater controllers (sold separately). It is cloth covered with foam insulation on the outer side for maximum efficiency and performance.
