    4.5" Form Factor for Hand Controller Use

    Designed specifically for handheld telescope controllers, this 4.5" heater strip uses a simple dual rubber band system to attach securely to the back of the unit. It keeps the controller warm and dry while leaving the front side controls accessible.

    2.5W Thick-Film Heater: 12V DC Operation

    At the core of the strip is a USA-made thick-film heater that operates on 12 V DC, rated at 2.5 W. Unlike resistance wire heaters, sixty-six percent of its surface area emits heat, for more even heat distribution and no localized hot spots or burnouts often associated with resistance wire heaters. The pad is cloth covered with foam insulation on the outer side for maximum efficiency and performance.
