William Optics Dovetail Plates

William Optics dovetail plates connect a telescope's rings to the mount saddle in either of the two common standards. Vixen-style plates include the 8" version in black or red and a long version for balancing heavier or longer tubes.

For larger payloads, the Losmandy-style Type D plate fits wide D saddles. The DSD 110, DSD 210 and DSD 245 plates come in three lengths and are designed to work in both Vixen and Losmandy-style saddles.
