Will any other telescope fit in this Celestron Origin bag?
This bag is custom-designed for the Celestron Origin Intelligent Home Observatory's 6" RASA tube. With internal dimensions of 635mm x 174.6mm x 174.6mm (25" x 6.875" x 6.875"), it is unlikely to fit other telescopes properly. Using it for other models may not provide the same level of secure, tailored protection.
How do I load the Celestron Origin into the bag?
The bag offers two easy loading methods. You can stand it on its end, unzip the circular zipper, and slide the Origin tube in vertically. Alternatively, you can lay the bag on a flat surface, open both the end zipper and the full-length side zipper, and place the tube inside horizontally.
What makes the 900 denier polyester material special?
900 denier polyester is a robust, synthetic fabric known for its exceptional durability and resistance to tearing and abrasion. I store my Origin in my garage. Is this bag enough to protect it from dust and moisture?
The 900 denier polyester exterior is treated to be weather-resistant, offering protection against light moisture and dust. The nylon zippers also help keep debris out. While it provides excellent protection for typical storage and transport, it is not a fully waterproof, hermetically sealed case.
