The Paramount Taurus 400 angled pier provides rock solid stability.

Note that the product photo shows the Paramount Taurus 400 pier attached to a Software Bisque Universal Mounting Plate. The Software Bisque Universal Mounting Plate is sold separately and not included with this product.

The Paramount Taurus 400 equatorial fork design moves the center of mass away from the center of the mount, toward the fork arm. The Paramount Taurus 400 Pier pier is angled to place the center of mass closer to the center of the pier base to minimize torque.
