    The ZWO 200mm Pier Extension for AM5 mount is a high-performance, versatile solution designed to enhance your astrophotography equipment. Crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum, this pillar set combines functionality with durability, ensuring a stable setup for your telescope and mount.

    Friendly Reminder: The PE200 is only compatible with Sky-Watcher’s HEQ5 Mount and is not suitable for use with the EQ6-R Pro.

    The pillar set offers easy, out-of-the-box functionality, simplifying installation with a single step: just tighten the locking knob!

    Wide Compatibility

    Works seamlessly with the ZWO carbon fiber tripod as well as 1.75-inch steel tripods from iOptron and Sky-Watcher, and the 2-inch tripod for Celestron Advanced VX mounts.

    Stylish and Functional Design

    Finished in a dark black tone with a matte surface, the set exudes a modern, sleek appearance.

    The perfect blend of the dark black pier extension and the red ZWO mount creates an aesthetic yet practical addition to your equipment.

    Connection to ZWO AM5

     

    1. Attach the pier extension to the tripod.
    2. Secure the AM5 mount to the pier extension by tightening the locking knobs.

    Connection to Sky-Watcher Tripod

     

    1. Remove the silver head plate from the pier extension.
    2. Install the Sky-Watcher adapter plate to the pier extension and secure it with 3 screws.
    3. Attach the spreader plate to the tripod and tighten the M10 locking knob.

    Connection to iOptron Tripod

     

    1. Remove the silver head plate from the pier extension.
    2. Secure the pier extension to the iOptron tripod using 2 screws.

    How to Replace the Tube with 3 Pillars

     

    1. Loosen the screws on the head plate and remove them.
    2. Loosen the screws on the base plate and take them off.
    3. Remove the tube.
    4. Install the 3 pillars and tighten them with 6 screws.

    Note

    The load capacity when using the pillars is equal to that of PE160.

    Maximum Load: 13kg

    Recommended Load: 10kg
