    Advanced 2″ Electronic Filter Wheels for Precision Astrophotography

    Designed for astrophotographers seeking unparalleled convenience and accuracy, the ZWO EFW offers two configurations:

    • EFW 5 x 2″: Holds up to 5 filters, weighing just 500g.
    • EFW 7 x 2″: Holds up to 7 filters, weighing 650g.

    Connect directly to the USB hub of ZWO Cooled Cameras for effortless cable management.

    Two Configurations Available

    EFW 5 x 2″: Holds 5 filters for users requiring fewer filter transitions.

    EFW 7 x 2″ Accommodates 7 filters for more advanced imaging setups.

    Optimal Pairings

    Recommended for use with ZWO 2″ RGBL filters, ensuring near 1:1:1 RGB color balance.

    When connected to the ASI6200MM Pro, the distance from the filter to the sensor is 18mm, reducing light leakage and optimizing imaging results.

    Installation & Usage

    1. Install filters:
      Ensure unmounted filters are less than 7.5mm in thickness and 50.8mm in diameter.
      Threads must be less than 2.7mm in thickness.
    2. Attach the darkening sets (included) to address light leakage issues.
    3. Connect the EFW to your system using the included USB 2.0 cable.
    4. Install the ASCOM driver for seamless integration with your astrophotography software.
