How stable does cooling need to be?
Stable enough that your dark frames match your light frames. A regulated set point you can hold on a warm night matters more than the lowest temperature achievable on a cold one.
Mono or colour for a first cooled camera?
Colour if clear nights are limited and you want a complete image from one session. Mono if you intend narrowband imaging from a light-polluted site and can commit multiple nights per target.
Will my flattener cover a larger sensor?
