Le PoleMaster peut être monté sur n'importe quelle monture équatoriale : Avec une bague d'adaptation appropriée, le PoleMaster peut être monté sur n'importe quelle monture équatoriale, même une monture équatoriale sans lunette d'axe polaire car le PoleMaster lui-même remplace toutes les fonctions d'une lunette d'alignement polaire optique. Même les montures équatoriales à axe unique qui n'ont pas la capacité de corriger la déclinaison en bénéficieront car avec le PoleMaster, une fois l'axe polaire aligné, la quantité de dérive dans la direction de la déclinaison sera très faible, ce qui peut encore améliorer les performances d'un tel monture équatoriale.
