The base of the mount features a Vixen-type dovetail bar, allowing it to attach directly to a wide range of equatorial wedges and astronomical saddles. For use with standard photographic equipment, the dovetail bar is also drilled and tapped with both 3/8”-16 and 1/4”-20 threaded sockets, enabling a direct connection to any camera tripod.
