  • Tele Vue 2" SCT RichField Kit

    The kit lets a Schmidt-Cassegrain use 2" eyepieces and accessories. The SCT Adapter threads onto the standard Celestron C8-style rear cell, and the 2" 90° Everbrite diagonal clamps into it.

    2" Everbrite Diagonal

    The Everbrite's dielectric coating is 99% reflective across the visual spectrum, on a 1/10-wave Pyrex mirror. The diagonal body is machined from a solid aluminum block, with a brass clamp ring and 48mm filter threads.

    Using 1.25" Eyepieces

    A 2"-1.25" HiHat adapter comes with the diagonal. Where fork swing-through clearance is tight, Tele Vue suggests the Flat Top 2"-1.25" adapter, which turns a 1.25" eyepiece into a low-profile 2" one.

    Eyepieces Not Included

    The kit contains no eyepiece. Add a 2" low-power eyepiece to get the widest true field your SCT can show.

  • What is in the kit?

    Does it include an eyepiece?

    No. Choose a 2" low-power eyepiece to go with it.

    Will it fit my SCT?

    The SCT Adapter threads onto the standard Celestron C8-style rear cell used by most SCTs.
