This adapter is the first piece of the puzzle. To attach a finder scope, you will also need the Explore Scientific Hybrid 2N1 Finder Base (ES-FB2N1-00), which is sold separately. This adapter allows you to mount that base onto your binoculars.

No. This adapter does not hold the finder scope itself. It is designed to hold the finder scope base (ES-FB2N1-00). That base is what provides the universal dovetail shoe that accepts finders from brands like Explore Scientific, Meade, Celestron, Synta, and Orion.
