The 1.5-inch diameter Counterweight Shaft Extension Bar (sold separately) is compatible with the following counterweight shafts:

  • Paramount MYT Standard Counterweight Shaft
  • Paramount MX/MX+ Standard Counterweight Shaft
  • Paramount ME Standard Counterweight Shaft
  • Paramount ME II fitted with the 1.5-inch diameter Counterweight Shaft

This extension provides a longer counterweight balance arm, and more total counterweight capacity. The extension features 1/2-in. 20 TPI male threads at one end, female at the other.

Important Note

The Paramount ME II includes a 1.875-inch diameter counterweight shaft and two 1.875-inch bore, 30lb counterweights. The Paramount ME II can optionally accept the 1.5-inch diameter Paramount ME/ME II Counterweight Shaft.
