  • The Askar 103 APO offers three optional premium accessories: a 1.0x flattener, a 0.8x reducer, and a 0.6x reducer.

    Here, we introduce the 0.6x reducer, optimized for the Askar 103 APO, which expands the telescope's capabilities.

    Description

    The 0.6x reducer lowers the Askar 103 APO's focal ratio to F4 while also providing field flattening. The Askar 103 APO features a detachable tube design, allowing the rear part of the tube to be removed when using the 0.6x reducer, achieving the necessary length for an F4 focal ratio.

    The 0.6x reducer has a quadruplet design and supports a 44mm full-frame image circle. It weighs 0.98kg and provides a standard 55mm back focus from the M48 thread. The front thread is M841. The camera end is equipped with three adapter sizes—M681, M540.75, and M480.75—for easy connection and use.

    Additionally, the built-in M48*0.75 2-inch filter thread allows direct installation of filters. The unit is CNC machined with threaded metal caps on both ends to prevent dust accumulation when not in use.
