Baader White-Light Solar Filters

Baader Planetarium white-light solar filters show the Sun's photosphere safely: sunspots, faculae and granulation, as well as partial phases of an eclipse. AstroSolar OD 5.0 and ClearWhite OD 5.1 filters are rated for visual use on telescopes, binoculars and spotting scopes.

For imaging, the AstroSolar Photo Film OD 3.8 and the Digital Solar Filter OD 3.8 allow shorter exposures. Solar Continuum filters add contrast to granulation when used behind a safe front filter.
