    Yes, most likely. Most commercial Dobsonian (Newtonian) telescopes do not have enough inward focuser travel to reach focus with a binoviewer alone. However, this package includes the 1.6x Barlow nosepiece specifically to solve this problem. By inserting the Barlow, you will almost certainly be able to achieve focus.

    Are the included 20mm eyepieces good for deep-sky objects like the Orion Nebula (M42)?

    Absolutely.
