Celestron CGEM II Mounts and Telescopes

Celestron CGEM II is a computerized German equatorial mount with a payload of about 40 lb, offered alone or with Celestron optical tubes. Kits include 8", 9.25" and 11" SCTs, the matching EdgeHD versions, the 800 RASA astrograph and a 700mm Maksutov-Cassegrain.

It is a step up from the Advanced VX for heavier tubes and longer imaging sessions, with a Losmandy-style saddle and autoguider port. The CGEM polar finderscope is also listed here for faster polar alignment.
