Daystar Solar Scout H-alpha Solar Telescopes

Daystar Solar Scout telescopes combine a refractor and a Daystar H-alpha filter in one compact instrument, a simple way to start observing prominences, filaments and active regions. They are offered in 60mm and 80mm apertures.

Chromosphere versions favour surface detail such as filaments and plages, while Prominence versions bring out prominences on the solar limb. A 60mm DS model is also available.
