Explore Scientific ED Essential Series APO Refractors

Explore Scientific ED Essential Series refractors are air-spaced triplet apochromats for visual observing and astrophotography. Apertures include the ED80, ED102 and ED127, plus the ED152 in a carbon fiber tube.

The ED80 comes alone or in bundles: with a field flattener for f/5 to f/7 telescopes, with a 0.8x focal reducer and the iEXOS-100-2 PMC-Eight equatorial tracker, or as a kit with accessories. It suits imagers starting out with a small, light refractor, while the larger tubes favor visual detail.
