Explore Scientific Narrowband Filters
Explore Scientific narrowband filters are Nebula Filters that pass a single emission line and block most light pollution and moonlight. The range covers H-Alpha and S-II filters with 6.5nm, 7nm or 12nm bandwidths, in 1.25-inch and 2-inch sizes.
They are mainly used for emission nebula imaging with a monochrome astronomy camera. The 12nm versions are more forgiving on fast optics, while 6.5nm and 7nm filters give stronger contrast from bright suburban skies.
