iOptron Alt-Azimuth Mounts

iOptron alt-azimuth mounts move in altitude and azimuth, so they set up without polar alignment, a good fit for visual observing, outreach and lunar or planetary imaging. The strain wave HAZ31, HAZ46 and HAZ71 and the dual-gear HAZ130 carry heavy tubes for their weight.

The HAE16C, HAE18C, HAE29, HAE43 and HAE69 also switch to equatorial mode for long exposures, while the AZ Mount Pro and SkyHunter EQ/AZ suit lighter setups.
