Orion Optics UK CT Carbon Newtonian Telescopes

Orion Optics UK CT carbon Newtonian telescopes are optical tube assemblies built around a carbon fibre tube, which is lighter than steel and changes length very little as the temperature drops, so focus holds better through the night. The line includes the CT8, CT10, CT12, CT14 and CT16, plus the CT10L and CT12L with longer focal lengths.

The standard versions suit deep-sky imaging and wide views, while the L models favour higher magnification on planets and the Moon.
