    The Hyperion Zoom is a versatile eyepiece, but using it in a 2" focuser often requires a separate 1.25" adapter that can introduce flexure. This two-piece kit replaces the standard 1.25" barrel entirely, threading directly onto the eyepiece's M45 threads to create a native 2" nosepiece. The result is a more stable connection, eliminating wobble and ensuring perfect optical alignment within your 2" diagonal or focuser.

    Will this adapter help my Hyperion Zoom MK III reach focus in my fast Newtonian reflector?

    This adapter changes the barrel size from 1.25" to 2" but does not significantly alter the focal plane position. If your Hyperion Zoom already reaches focus with a standard 1.25" adapter, it should also reach focus with this 2" nosepiece. It does not add or reduce the eyepiece's back-focus requirement.
