    This ring is one half of a system and is not functional on its own. You must have at least one Baader T-2 Quick Changer (Zeiss) with T-2 thread (Part # T2-6). The Ring fits into the Changer, which provides the locking mechanism and the connection to the rest of your telescope system.

    No. When properly locked, the dovetail connection is extremely rigid and is designed for imaging applications.     Yes. The Baader T-2 thread is dimensionally identical to the common M42x0.75 "T-thread" used on the vast majority of astronomical cameras, filter wheels, and adapters. It will connect to any standard T-threaded accessory from any manufacturer.
