Celestron PowerTank Glow 5000

A 2-in-1 Astronomy Essential: 25 Wh Power and 3-Level Red Light

This device eliminates the need to carry a separate flashlight and power bank. The PowerTank Glow 5000 combines a night-vision-safe red flashlight with a 25 Wh power source, providing both critical functions in one compact, 140mm long body. It's designed to be the go-to field accessory for any amateur astronomer.

Night-Vision Safe: 3 Levels of Red LED Illumination

A red flashlight is essential for preserving your dark-adapted vision at the telescope. The PowerTank Glow 5000 features a red LED with three selectable brightness levels (Low, Medium, and High), allowing you to choose the minimum light necessary for your environment. A single button cycles through the levels, starting with the dimmest to prevent accidental overexposure.

Keep Your Devices Charged with 5VDC @ 1A Output

Running planetarium apps like Celestron's SkyPortal can quickly drain a smartphone's battery. The PowerTank Glow 5000's 25 Wh capacity is ample for fully charging your phone or tablet via its 5VDC @ 1A USB port. This ensures you can navigate the night sky, control your telescope, or capture images without worrying about your device dying mid-session.

Field-Ready Design: IP-65 Rated and Easy to Mount

Engineered for outdoor use, the PowerTank Glow 5000 carries an IP-65 rating, making it both dust-tight and resistant to water jets. Protective covers seal the input and output ports from the elements. Using the two included silicone straps, you can securely attach the unit to a tripod leg, keeping it accessible but out of the way.

• Single-Button Control: Short presses cycle through flashlight modes, while a long press activates or deactivates the USB charging port.
• Battery Indicators: Four red LEDs clearly display the remaining battery charge, while a green LED confirms when a device is actively charging.
• Lightweight Portability: At only 0.4 lbs, it adds negligible weight to your gear bag.
