    Can I use the Handheld Spectro to see the spectrum of the Sun?

    Yes, but with extreme caution. Never look directly at the Sun through any optical instrument. To safely observe the solar spectrum, point the spectroscope at a white surface illuminated by bright sunlight, such as a piece of paper on the ground. This will allow you to see the Sun's continuous spectrum crossed by dark Fraunhofer absorption lines.

    What does the spectrum of a fluorescent lamp look like with the Handheld Spectro?
