    This counterweight is engineered specifically for the 1.5-inch diameter counterweight shafts used on multiple generations of Paramount mounts. It is the factory-correct component for balancing additional or heavier payloads on these specific models.

    • Direct Fit Mounts: The counterweight is fully compatible with the Paramount MYT, Paramount MX+, Paramount MX, and the legacy Paramount ME.
    • Paramount ME II Note: The Paramount ME II ships with a larger 1.875" shaft by default. This counterweight can be used with the ME II only if it is equipped with the optional 1.5" counterweight shaft.
    • Secure Locking: A large, easy-to-grip locking knob ensures the counterweight stays firmly in place once positioned, preventing any shift in balance during a long imaging session.
