Software Bisque Paramount MEII DEC Axis to Versa-Plate Spacer

Create more distance between the Dec axis and the Versa-Plate for custom cables.

The Paramount ME II Dec Axis to Versa-Plate Spacer is mounted between the top of the Paramount ME II declination axis and the bottom of the Versa-Plate.

When the Versa-Plate is in the standard orientation (see the Paramount User Guide for details about Versa-Plate attachment options):

• A recessed channel in the top of the Dec axis provides sufficient space to route the standard through-the-mount cabling to the Instrument Panel that is attached to the Versa-Plate.
• This spacer can be used to separate the top of the Dec axis from the bottom of the Versa-Plate to make room for routing custom through-the-mount cables to the telescope.

When the Versa-Plate is in the wide orientation:

• The recessed channel in the top of the Dec axis (see figure below) can no longer be used to route the standard through-the-mount cabling to the Instrument Panel (attached to the Versa-Plate), and this spacer (or another type of spacer) is required.
• The Versa-Plate spacer provides a channel to route the standard through-the-mount cables to the Instrument Panel.
• Custom cables to the telescope can be routed through the channel on the top of the Dec axis (see figure below.
