This plate is exclusively for the Starizona Modular Filter Slider and is not compatible with the discontinued Original Filter Slider. You can easily identify which model you have by checking the plates. If both the top and bottom plates on your filter slider are removable with three screws each, you have the Modular version and this plate will fit.
The Original Filter Slider only has one removable top plate, and its design is not compatible with these modular plates. This M54 male plate leverages the Modular system's key advantage: the ability to swap threads on both sides of the slider for maximum adaptability in your imaging setup.

How do I install this Starizona M54 plate on my Modular Filter Slider?
Installation is straightforward. Use the included Allen wrench to remove the three screws holding the existing plate on either the top or bottom of your Modular Filter Slider. Place the new M54 male plate onto the slider body, align the screw holes, and secure it with the three new screws provided.
Will this M54 plate change the 17.5mm height of my Starizona Modular Filter Slider?
No. This is a standard-thickness plate. When installed, it maintains the Modular Filter Slider's total height of 17.5 mm. Starizona also offers thicker female plates that increase the height, but this M54 male plate keeps the original profile.
How can I be certain I have the Modular Filter Slider and not the Original?
Examine your filter slider. The Modular Filter Slider has two removable plates (top and bottom), each attached with three screws. The older Original Filter Slider has only one removable plate. This M54 plate will only fit the Modular version.
