    Tele Vue matches its longer, heavier 4" scopes to the HD4. Its large bearing surfaces and thick wood legs handle the load, especially for high-power viewing.

    The Gibraltar HD Tripod

    Leg extensions raise the altitude axis to 5 ft, and a scale on the extensions lets you return to the same height. A wood accessory tray ties the legs together, a built-in pier allows high-altitude viewing, a bubble level is built into the tripod base, and metal ground spikes with rubber tips are provided.

    Pre-Installed Encoders

    Encoders are 2160-step, 0.167° (10 arcminutes) per step, pre-installed with the cables needed to connect a Digital Setting Circles computer (sold separately).
