  • Vaonis Dual Band Filter for Vespera

The Dual Band filter increases the contrast between emission nebulae and the sky background. It isolates the H-alpha and OIII emission lines and rejects most light pollution, revealing nebulae in vivid detail even from the city.

    Smart filter

A chip in the filter ring lets Vespera recognize the filter and adapt observation and processing automatically. The filter is used at the telescope's full aperture.

  • Is it good for galaxies?

The Dual Band filter is designed for emission nebulae. For galaxies and star clusters under light-polluted skies, the CLS filter is the better choice.
