  • Vaonis Vespera III Smart Telescope

The Vespera III raises the standard of the Vespera range with new flat-field apochromatic optics, a stray-light baffle, up to 11 h of battery life and 115GB of storage. Its 8.3MP Sony IMX585 sensor captures nebulae, galaxies and star clusters in color, right on your phone or tablet.

    New apochromatic optics

The 50mm, f/4.9 quadruplet in three groups, with a refined field corrector, delivers finer stars and sharper detail across the field. The sensor gives a native field of 2.6° x 1.46°, and CovalENS mosaics reach 24MP.

What is new compared with the Vespera II

    • New 245mm f/4.9 optics and a stray-light baffle
    • Up to 11 h of battery life instead of about 4 h
    • 115GB of storage instead of 25GB
    • Faster USB-C file transfer
    • Integrated humidity and temperature sensor

Automatic from setup to final image

Place the telescope on its tripod, open the Singularity app on your phone or tablet and choose a target. The telescope points itself, focuses, tracks the sky and stacks images live, so the picture gets cleaner and more detailed on your screen as the minutes go by.

    • Autofocus that keeps stars sharp as the temperature changes
    • Automatic pointing, tracking and live stacking
    • Built-in Wi-Fi: the telescope creates its own network, no internet needed in the field

Mosaic, Multi-Night Capture and Plan My Night

CovalENS mosaic mode assembles several fields into one large image for wide nebulae and galaxies. Multi-Night Capture lets a project continue over several nights, and Plan My Night schedules a sequence of targets that runs on its own.

Built for clear results under city skies

A new baffle reduces stray light and halos for better contrast. An integrated humidity and temperature sensor switches on the anti-fog heating automatically, so the optics stay clear all night.

Images can be exported as 16-bit FITS files for processing in software such as Siril or PixInsight.

  • Is a charger included?

No. The Vespera III charges through USB-C. Vaonis recommends a USB-C Power Delivery charger of 30 to 50 W, which is not included.

Do I need a computer or an internet connection?

No. The telescope creates its own Wi-Fi network and is controlled with the free Singularity app on a smartphone or tablet. No internet connection is needed in the field.

Can I use filters with it?

Yes. Vaonis offers optional filters, including the CLS filter for light-polluted skies, the Dual Band filter for emission nebulae and the Solar filter for observing the Sun. No filter is built in.
