What is the Wanderer Astro Replacement Panel used for?

Can I use this replacement panel with my WandererCover V4-EC or other models?
No. This panel is exclusively compatible with the WandererCover V5 Basic. Wanderer Astro states that any other use is prohibited and voids the warranty.
How do I choose the correct size replacement panel for my telescope?
Select a panel whose luminous diameter is equal to or larger than the outer diameter of the front of your telescope (dew shield included), not just its aperture. Each panel's outer diameter is its luminous diameter plus 25 mm, for example 225 mm for the 200mm panel.
What makes the WandererCover V5 panel's illumination so uniform?
The panel uses a patented LED-backlit design. A full-sized circuit board of LEDs provides the light source, which is then evenly scattered by a diffusion layer. An air gap sits between the LEDs and the diffusion layer. This is different from edge-lit panels and results in highly consistent brightness across the entire surface, crucial for accurate flat calibration frames.
Will this panel flicker during short exposures for my flat frames?
No. When used with the WandererCover V5 Basic controller, the panel's illumination is flicker-free even at very short exposure times. It is rated to produce stable light for exposures as brief as 0.05 seconds across all 255 brightness levels.
