  • Kowa TSN-CM2-N T2 Ring for Nikon F

The Kowa TSN-CM2-N T2 Ring is a T2 adaptor for the Nikon F mount. It connects a Nikon F mount camera body to a Kowa digiscoping adapter that uses a T2 connection, for digiscoping through a Kowa spotting scope.

Dedicated Connection for Nikon F-Mount Cameras

This T2 ring is for the Nikon F mount. Kowa's TSN-PA8 photo adapter uses a T2 connection (T2 rings are required and sold separately), and the TSN-AR42GT adapter ring combines the TSN-DA10 or TSN-DA20 digiscoping adapters with T2 rings.

Choosing Your Mount: Kowa TSN-CM2-N vs. Other T-Rings

Kowa offers a series of TSN-CM2 T-Rings, each designed for a different camera system. The TSN-CM2-N is for Nikon F mount cameras. For other systems, Kowa provides different adapters:

    • TSN-CM2-CE: For Canon EF and EF-S mounts.
    • TSN-CM2-SE: For Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras.
    • TSN-CM2-M4/3: For Micro Four Thirds mount cameras.
    • TSN-CM2-K: For Pentax K-mount cameras.

Choose the ring that matches your camera mount.

  • What is the Kowa TSN-CM2-N T2 Ring used for?

The Kowa TSN-CM2-N is a T2 adaptor for the Nikon F mount. It connects a Nikon F mount camera body to a Kowa digiscoping adapter that uses a T2 connection.

Which cameras are compatible with the Kowa TSN-CM2-N?

Kowa describes it as a T2 adaptor for the Nikon F mount, so it is for camera bodies with that mount. For other mounts, choose the matching Kowa TSN-CM2 ring.

How do I attach the Kowa TSN-CM2-N to my Kowa spotting scope?

The TSN-CM2-N attaches to a Kowa digiscoping adapter with a T2 connection, not to the scope itself. Kowa's TSN-PA8 photo adapter uses a T2 connection (T2 rings are required and sold separately), and the TSN-AR42GT adapter ring combines the TSN-DA10 or TSN-DA20 digiscoping adapters with T2 rings.

Can I use the Kowa TSN-CM2-N for wildlife photography with a TSN-88 scope?

Yes. Kowa lists the TSN-DA10 for the TSN-99/88/77/66 spotting scopes with the TE-11WZ II eyepiece; with the TSN-AR42GT ring and the TSN-CM2-N you can attach a Nikon F mount camera body. Kowa describes the TSN-DA10 as suited to compact, lightweight Micro Four Thirds or mirrorless bodies.
